CDR measures suck CO2 out of the air. I call for the immediate widespread use of this technology.
Carbon Direct Recapture (CDR)
In the Paris climate agreement, CDR measures are to be used from 2030 at the earliest in order to reduce emissionsn to support. They should not develop their full effect until the middle of the century. I see it differently. CDR measures must now be applied intensively in order to still achieve the existential interim goal of 2030. Emissions will not have even remotely reduced by 45% by 2030. Because this onePlan obviously failedt, CDR must be used massively worldwide from 2023
According to the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU), global warming can only be limited to well below 2 °C if global CO2 emissions “peak around 2020. If that doesn't work, and it can be assumed that it will, only so-called negative emissions will help. This means the subsequent removal of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through measures such as reforestation, carbon capture and storage or ocean fertilization.”[1]

Multilateral environmental and climate agreements
I recommend that China, the USA, the EU, India, Japan and Russia sit down at one table and conclude a multilateral climate and environmental agreement independent of Paris. As already mentioned, these nations cause almost 70% of global CO2 emissions. They represent half of the world's population, produce 62.5% of global gross domestic product (World Bank,2020) and consume over 62% of all global fossil fuels
In addition, regional climate agreements are to be concluded worldwide. These contracts have the advantage over Paris 2015 that they are binding, work faster and more effectively.

Multi- or bilateral contracts oblige all contracting parties to adhere to a climate agreement, because a breach of contract would have immediate negative political consequences for the country concerned. Since the contractual partners often also cooperate in many other areas due to their geographic proximity, no state can afford such a breach of trust.

Small contracts with few parties can be specially adapted to the needs of the participants, the economic and geographical situation. This makes regional agreements efficient and successful.

People and states feel emotionally committed to their country but not to the world. This is too big and abstract to build an emotional relationship. The idea that people and countries should feel like citizens of the world is the misguided wishful thinking of globalism, which totally misses reality. Countries and people are emotionally bound to their culture and values. Therefore, successful climate protection is only regionally successful in the same or similar cultures.
